production line of wood doors

Have you wondered how a wood door is built? HRCK focuses on quality wood doors with commercial and residential applications. We can produce several doors at a time with our wood door production line, a factory line that we operate more like a well run machine -- this way: your door will always be very good. And making doors is a huge job, with multiple steps we must complete to get it right.

Choosing the right type of wood is the first thing we do in making wood doors. Our selection includes oak, mahogany, cherry and other hardwoods. All wood is unique with its own texture and we select according to a customers requirements. Chair profiles cater to different preferences, Mr. Metcalfe said. Once we select the wood, we dry it in large ovens known as kilns. It is important because the drying process removes moisture from the wood and, thus, prepares it to function effectively.

How Wood Doors are Manufactured in Mass Quantities

After the wood dries, the lumber is planed, cut, and shaped to different sizes and configurations to suit the specs of each door. Good, we use a special saw that cuts that wood just right every time. This is crucial because if the cuts are not accurate enough, the door won't fit properly or aesthetically. Then after cutting, we sand the wood and make them smooth. The door is sanded, which smoothens it and gets it ready for the next step.
